Myndland ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our Google Chrome extension, Myndland, and any related services.

a. Emotion & Disagreement Detection

We analyze transcription from audio data from your meetings to detect emotional cues and disagreement dynamics. Transcription data is processed to deliver immediate insights and advice during your meetings. We do not capture or store video content. All audio recordings are retained along with their analyses to generate post meeting analysis and enable you to review past meetings.

b. Meeting Transcriptions

With your permission, we access transcriptions of your meetings to:

• Provide more accurate emotion and disagreement analysis

• Generate post-meeting insights and summaries

• Offer contextual strategic advice based on conversation content

You can revoke this permission at any time through your browser's extension settings

c. Email Access (Optional)

If you grant permission, we may access your emails to:

• Provide context-aware meeting preparation insights

• Identify relationship dynamics with meeting participants

• Offer strategic communication suggestions

This access is entirely optional and can be enabled or disabled at any time. We only access emails when you explicitly grant permission and only to enhance your meeting experience.

d. Brainwave Data (Optional)

We collect Electroencephalogram (EEG) data, measurements of electrical brain activity, from compatible devices you connect to our platform. This data helps us monitor your stress patterns during meetings. EEG data is processed in real-time and stored with your meeting records to provide personalized insights and feedback about your engagement and mental performance.

e. Usage Metadata

We may collect non-identifying data such as timestamps of feature usage (e.g., when "Help" is clicked), feature preferences settings, extension versions, and error logs for debugging purposes.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Real-Time Features: To analyze emotional dynamics and offer immediate strategic advice and calming audio.

• Meeting Intelligence: To process transcriptions and email context for enhanced meeting insights and preparation.

• User Experience: To support features like the Help Button, role management panel, and personalized suggestions.

• Quality & Improvements: To troubleshoot issues and enhance Myndland's functionality (using aggregated/anonymized data only).

3. Data Storage & Retention

• Real-time analysis data is kept only temporarily and discarded after processing.

• Meeting transcriptions are processed in real-time and retained only for the duration necessary to provide insights.

• Email data accessed with your permission is processed temporarily and not stored on our servers. We only analyze emails to provide immediate contextual insights.

• Usage logs are stored in anonymized form and retained only as long as necessary for debugging and improvement.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell or share any personal data, meeting transcriptions, email content, or stress/emotion insights. We may share anonymized usage metrics or aggregated trends with trusted service providers (e.g., Chrome Web Store analytics) to improve Myndland—only under confidential agreements.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data processed by Myndland. This includes:

• Encrypted communication between your browser and Myndland services

• Secure handling of any optional EEG connections

• Encrypted processing of meeting transcriptions and email data

• Compliance with industry-standard security practices for sensitive communication data

6. Your Rights & Choices

• Manage Permissions: You can enable or disable access to calendar and emails at any time through your browser's extension permissions.

• Disable Features: You can disable EEG-based monitoring at any time by disconnecting your devices or turning off the feature in Myndland's settings.

• Delete Your Data: You can request deletion of any stored meeting summaries or data by contacting us.

7. Children

Myndland is not intended for use by individuals under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
